Terms of Business - Regular Cleaning

Service

1.The cleaning rate is £15.00-£18.00 per hour per cleaner.

2.The Client agrees to provide all necessary cleaning detergents and equipment for the required work, unless other arrangements have been made with Beechwood Home Manangement.

3.All cleaning equipment should be safe and in full working order.

4.If the Client is not happy with the standard of service provided, Beechwood Home Management will endeavour to find a replacement cleaner as soon as possible, usually by the next scheduled regular clean.

5.All cleaners are interviewed thoroughly and references are sought for all cleaners. Happy Home Cleaning will endeavour to assign cleaners to regular jobs however, due to the nature of the business, this will not always be possible and a suitable replacement cleaner will be sent.

6.We ask that Clients do not directly offer work to the cleaners provided by Beechwood Home Management. Cleaners may be employed directly by the client only upon payment to Happy Home Cleaning Services of equivalent to 6 months of the regular cleaning invoice.

7.Beechwood Home Management will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. The Clients should give specific instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.

Payment


1.Payments for cleaning services must be made in cash or bank transfer on the day of cleaning. Bank Details: SORT CODE 30 96 26 and ACCOUNT NUMBER 29369960. Cash can be left in a sealed envelope on the day of cleaning and envelopes can be provided by Beechwood Home Management.

2.The Client can change the number of hours and the interval between cleaning visits by giving at least 48 hours’ notice before the next cleaning visit.

Complaints

1.The Client accepts and understands that poor service; breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from our service date. No claims can be made against Happy Home Cleaning Services after this time.

2.In case of poor service Happy Home Cleaning Services will endeavour to rectify problems arising as a result of its work. Happy Home Cleaning Services will re-do the job free of charge where work has been completed to an unacceptable standard. In this instance, Happy Home Cleaning Services advises that the Client or a client's representative should be at the premises at the time of completion of the job so an inspection can be done and any correction is made on site on the same day.

3.In the event of our negligence resulting to damage of your goods we may pay a sum equivalent to the cost of repair or replacement, whichever is the smaller sum, up to a maximum of £50 for any one item. This is dependent upon up to date payment of cleaning services rendered.

4.All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.

5.The Client agrees to provide Happy Home Cleaning Services with all required information regarding damages caused by our operatives.

6.Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost/broken or damaged by our operatives.

Insurance

1.Please understand accidental damage will be covered within your own home and contents insurance policy.

2.We carry Public and Employers Liability Insurance for all cleaners and clients within the home.

Cancellation

1.The Client may cancel cleaning visits due to unforeseen circumstances, please provide as much notice as is possible.

2.The Client may terminate the whole service by giving 14 days advance notice in writing and specifying the last cleaning date.

Terms of Business – One Off Cleaning Services

Service

1.The cleaning rate is £18.00-£22.00 per hour per cleaner. Beechwood Home Management will provide all cleaning products and equipment required to carry out our one-off cleaning services.

2.We ask that Clients do not directly offer work to the cleaners provided by Beechwood Home Management. Cleaners may be employed directly by the client only upon payment to Happy Home Cleaning Services of equivalent to 6 months of the regular cleaning invoice.

3.Beechwood Home Management will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. The Clients should give specific instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.

Beechwood Home Management reserves the right not to be responsible for:

1.Delay for a cleaning visit due to traffic congestion
Lack of hot water or electricity
Cancellation

2.The Client may cancel the cleaning visit by giving at least 48 hours advanced notice.
The Client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit if he/she cancels or changes the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
